Chickens and Eggs
For many years chickens were raised on the farm. There were many locations for the "Chicken House". The first chicken house was uphill adjacent to the stone wall just on the opposite side of the hayfield. The chicken house then found itself in the bottom of the barn, in the Barn where the cows were once kept, and then finally in the Milkroom. The chickens provided meat and eggs.
