The garden shed was built by Dad with some help from the family. This small outbuilding had a door and two windows with a work bench inside that overlooked the garden. The showels, rakes, and other garden tools and supplies were kept here.
The Garden Shed was located adjacent to the garden and
the Greenhouse. It was probably built in the early 1980s.
The Garden Shed in winter did not see much use.
Garden Shed - May 2015
The Garden Shed next to the vegetable garden fell into disuse. The garden lay dormant for quite a few years - the wooden posts around the garden fell to the ground and the chicken wire surrounding the garden was buried under years of tall grass. The Garden Shed suffered the same neglect as the garden. In June 2015 the Garden Shed had some minor repairs done and got a new fresh coat of paint.
