Farmhouse Back Porch
Rear of house. The back porch was the scene
of much coffee drinking and family get-togethers.

Porch 2002
One will always find pumpkins on the entryway in the fall.

one of the mountains in the Presidential Range of the White Mountains.

Farmhouse 1988

Farmhouse 1988. The siding of the house was put on in the mid-1970s from wood logged off the land. The right side of the porch is where the resident artist spent much of her time painting. To the extreme right is the wellhouse (with birdhouse)  that provides the farm with water. In the fall wood is placed in the porch to feed the wood stoves in winter. The light colored fence in the right of the photo was the moveable electric fence used for the sheep. Every few days the fence would be moved to rotate the sheep around the farm property.
