Cows
The farm had cows from the early 1970s until the early 1990s - for about twenty years. There were usually between two to five cows on the farm with a calf or two born every year. In the early years milk was produced and collected by the milk truck every morning but then it was used just for the family use.

Milking Clothes. Life on a farm is hard work and long hours.
If you are milking cows in the winter you get up early in
the morning, put your warm clothes on, grab a lantern
and milk can and head to the barn.
